Competed in all six races during the fall ... finished 51st at the 8K Southland Championships in a personal best time of 25:53.4 ... was 31st in the 6K UIW Opener in 20:00.6 ... finished 37th at the 8K Texas A&M Invitational in 27:13.2.
2018 (Freshman)
Competed in five races ... finished 56th at the Southland Championships (29:19.5) ... ran a 27:18.4 in the 8K Arturo Barrios Invitational ... finished 20th at the McNeese State Cowboy Stampede, running 22:29.6 in the 4-mile race.
PRIOR TO TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI (ALICE HS)
Ran under Marissa Acosta his entire high school career... lettered all four years with the Coyote's Track & Field Team... qualified for state, while earning All-Region and All-District his senior year... received All-Academic Award and National Honor Society Award from Alice HS.

Son of Donna and Micheal Lara... was born February 25, 2000 in Alice TX... has one brother (Christain) and one sister (Ella)... majoring in nursing... dream job is being a Nurse Practitioner.
