2023 Runner of the Week (Sept. 26)

2024 (Jr.): Competed in two of six meets for the Islanders in her second season with the team...Started the year by finishing second on the team and ninth overall at the Opener at the Seashore after recording a time of 15:20.4 in the 4k...Posted a time of 18:48.0 in the 5k at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational to help the team finish in sixth out of 23.

2023 (So.): Competed in four meets for the Islanders... top women's finisher at the Roy Griak Invitational and clocked in at 23:51.2 in the 6k to earn an SLC Runner of the Week accolade... clocked a personal-best 22:21.9 in the 6k at the Arturo Barrios Invite... ran at the NCAA South Central Regionals and crossed at 24:42.8

Previous School: Attended Our Lady of the Lake where he was the Freshman of the Year... broke four school records... guided the team to the 2022 conference championship

High School: Attended San Benito HS where she was a 3200 district champion, 3200 & 1600 regional qualifier and 3200, 1600 & 800 area qualifier in 2022... qualified for both regionals and area in the 3200 in 2021

Personal: Born March 11, 2004... son of Maria Estrella Ibarra and Joe Lee Ibarra... has four siblings Crystal M. Ibarra, Tamarah Ibarra, Jakeida Ibarra and Joe L. Ibarra Jr... is the first person in her family to attend college... majoring in kinesiology and intends to become a physical therapist
