HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered three years at Pharr-San Juan-Alamo High School under head coach Angel Garza... was a regional qualifier her senior season... named team captain... also played volleyball.

PERSONAL: Born Amy Mendoza on October 29, 1994... daughter of Albino and Blanca Mendoza... has two brothers - Alex and Andy - and two sisters - Blanca and Vanessa... majoring in physical therapy.
