2014 Indoor and Outdoor Track: Recorded 12 top-5 finishes and bloomed into one of the Islanders most consistent runners in relay events. Was a part of the Islanders championship relay team at the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships. Set career bests in the 100 and 400 meter races. Took first in the 400 meter race at the Dr. Pepper Classic with a time of 48.19.
2013 Indoor and Outdoor Track: Set a personal best in the 200 meter dash during the Bobcat Classic with a time of 21.99. Picked up a second-place finish at the Rice Twilight Classic in the 400 meter race (48.56) while finishing sixth and seventh, respectively as a part of the Islanders relays teams at the Southland Conference Championships.
2012 Indoor and Outdoor Track: Part of the men’s 4x100 meter relay team that set four top-10 all-time records … helped set three top-10 all-time records in the 4x400 meter relay team … recorded a personal-best time of 21.86 in the men’s 200m at the Border Olympics (3/3) … posted a personal-best time of 49.96 in the men’s 400m at the Texas State Invitational (4/7) … competed in 19 events during the season.Clocked a time of 6.75 in the men’s 55m at the Texas Tech Invitational (1/20-21) … recorded a of 22.63 in the men’s 200m at the Texas Tech Invitational (1/20-21) … Posted the 4thAll-Time record of 50.83 in the men’s 400m in the Texas Tech Invitational (1/20-21) … part of the 4x400 meter relay team that recorded a time of 3:22.02 at the Southland Conference Championships (2/26) … competed in seven events during the season.
High School: Ran for head coach Roger Olivas at Eagle Pass High School in Eagle Pass, Texas … helped his team win districts in 2001 and qualified for state in the 4x400m relay … won districts in 2011 in the 400m, 100m, 4x400m and qualified for state in the 4x400m … won districts in the 100m, 4x100m and 4x400m his junior year … earned the Eagle Pass I.S.D. track and Field MVP award in 2010 and 2011 … regional qualifier in the 4x200 his sophomore year … holds the city record in the 4x400m with a time of 3.18.75.
