LAKE CHARLES, La. – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi softball team will take to the road for a three-game series at McNeese in the midweek, playing a doubleheader Tuesday and game three Wednesday at Joe Miller Field at Cowgirl Diamond.
The Islanders (9-26, 3-12 SLC) will take on the last year's regular season champions beginning Tuesday with a 4 p.m. doubleheader before rounding out the rare midweek series Wednesday at 1 p.m. McNeese (25-17, 11-4 SLC) is currently second in the league standings, having won five of their six conference series so far.
This series will mark games four through six out of nine within a nine-day period. They are coming off a pair of tough conference series losses to Southeastern and Lamar, and will look to get back in the win column to break a six-game skid.
McNeese leads the series 45-13 since 2006 and have won the 34 of the last 35 games six games against the Islanders. The Islanders took one game from last year's series in Corpus Christi.
All three games will be available to watch live on ESPN+.
