SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi softball team enters their final week of the regular season and will open it with their official nonconference finale in a midweek contest at UTSA Tuesday at Roadrunner Field.
The Islanders (10-34) will face off against the Roadrunners (18-28) at 4 p.m. Tuesday. It will be the second time this season the teams meet, with A&M-Corpus Christi going for the sweep after beating UTSA 7-2 in Corpus Christi back in February.
A&M-Corpus Christi will look to garner some additional momentum heading into a crucial final weekend of conference play this weekend as they are fighting for a spot in the SLC Tournament. They have an ounce of drive in their back pocket after a 4-3 walk-off win last weekend against SFA snapped a 14-game slump.
The Islanders trail UTSA 36-28 in the all-time series but have won the last two meetings after the teams also met last season on a neutral field. They also won the last meeting in San Antonio back in 2023 6-4.
The game will be available to follow along with live stats.
