TEMPE, Ariz. – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi beach volleyball team shook off a three-match skid and rebounded to take down Coastal Carolina in a 3-2 decision Saturday to close out their weekend in the Sun Devil Classic.
The Islanders (6-5) got back into the win column with the victory over Coastal Carolina, their second already over the Chanticleers after topping them last weekend 4-1 in the Longhorn Invitational.

Bryce Ranney registered the first point of the day for the Islanders after outlasting at court four in a three-set win. They bounced back themselves after a dropped second set to take the decider 15-10.

The Islanders will continue competing in the west, next going to California to compete in the Stanford Tournament next Friday and Saturday.
