STANFORD, Calif. – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi beach volleyball team dropped a pair of matches Saturday to Utah (3-2) and #5 Stanford (5-0) Saturday to wrap up their trip in the nationally ranked Cardinals' tournament.
The Islanders (7-8) found themselves down in both matches today, unfortunately ending the Stanford Tournament with a pair of losses. It is A&M-Corpus Christi's first loss to Utah, still leading the all-time series 2-1.
The top of the lineup recorded the only two points for the Islanders today against Utah, with

Millie Olsson also come away with a three-set decision for the Islanders.
In an exhibition matchup,
Ruby Kayser/
Cimone Woodard competed against Utah at court six and took their contest 21-17, 24-22.
Next up, the Islanders will eye a three-peat at the league's regular season title when they compete in the Southland Conference Midseason tournament next weekend in Thibodaux, Louisiana. They will be going for their sixth championship in four years after winning the last two regular seasons and last three tournament titles.
