CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Tickets for the 15th annual Kleberg Bank College Classic hosted by the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi baseball team are now available for purchase.
The tournament will be held from February 21-23 at Whataburger Field, and it will feature six games over the three-day span. It has multiple packages available, starting with the weekend pass for $27 as well as passes for each individual day priced at $12. Discounted tickets are also for sale at $10 for children, military members, staff and faculty, and students can get free admission by showing their Sanddollar card.
"The Kleberg Bank College Classic is always a highlight on the schedule," said head coach Scott Malone. "It is an honor as the head coach at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to bring in top-of-the-mountain talent year in and year out at the Division I level."
The Islanders will square off against three different power conference opponents, with those being UCLA and Michigan State of the Big Ten and Washington State of the Pac-12. They have taken on the Bruins and Spartans one time each in 2010 and 2016 respectively, while their game against the Cougars will be the first in program history.
"To showcase teams like these three in front of South Texas baseball fans is a great thing. The city of Corpus Christi is such a baseball driven town, and I love to be able to tell people that they can see Big Ten and Big 12 teams come to town for the Kleberg Bank College Classic. Our players are super excited about the opportunity to be on the field on against some of the best in Division I baseball," said Malone.
There will be postgame fireworks after Friday's matchup against UCLA to celebrate Kleberg Bank's 120th anniversary. Sunday's game against Washington State will also help kick-off Homecoming 2025 for Island U.
