FORT COLLINS, Co. – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi softball team will make quite the road trip this weekend, heading to play five games in Colorado State's Colorado Classic Friday through Sunday at Ram Field.
The Islanders (5-10) will face the host Rams (5-10) three times over the weekend, while taking on Northern Colorado (4-10) in a pair of matchups. A detailed schedule of A&M-Corpus Christi's weekend can be found below.
The Islanders will be hopeful to take a powerball performance on the road with them, after a 7-2 win over UTSA this week at home broke a six-game skid. CJ Castill and
Mimi Thornton both came away with the multi-hit game while
Holly Ayala got it done in the circle for the complete game win.
They've also already faced Northern Colorado, slugging past them in a 12-9 victory. They lead the Bears 3-1 all-time while trailing Colorado State 2-0.
Friday's doubleheader against the Rams will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network. All games will have live stats to follow along.
