The postponement gave the grounds crew an extra day to ensure that the field would be playable. … A&M-Corpus Christi rebounded after a rough weekend in San Antonio the week before by taking two of three from the Demons.
Primrose Aholelei picked up a pair of wins, 6-2 and 3-0. The lone loss in Game 2 of the doubleheader came after the Demons scored five runs in the first inning. The Islanders scored four in the fourth to make it a game, but NSU added two in the sixth to win 7-4. … Playing just their second SLC series of the season, the Huskies split the doubleheader with Southwestern, La., losing 9-1 and winning 3-2, then lost the finale 4-0.
