FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Texas A&M-Corpus Christi saw two track and field athletes compete at the NCAA West Preliminaries at John McDonnell Field as one concluded his campaign.
Senior
Daniel Armstrong competed in the men's 400m hurdles where he finished 22nd with a time of 52.99s. He made it to the quarterfinals after running a season-best mark of 51.27s during the first round of competition Wednesday. Armstrong competed well throughout the season in the hurdles, receiving national recognition along the way for his performances and finishing in the top 48 in the nation.
Senior
Trpimir Siroki competed in the men's high jump and didn't record a mark on the day, but will still compete at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon in the decathlon June 8-11. He will compete in the men's long jump and high jump as part of the competition.
