HOUSTON, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi cross country opens its 2021 campaign with a visit to the Rice Invitational Friday, the women's race begins at 6:15 p.m. and the men follow with a 6:45 p.m. start.
Notes
- The returning duo of Valentina Campos and Dennis Kipngeno each sported an individual third-place finish at the Southland Cross Country Championships in February. Each team placed seventh in the championship race.
- Opening the spring schedule at the UIW Invitational, Kipngeno and Tristan Stellmach provided the 1-2 punch to help the men's side top the leaderboard with 50 points for the team title.
- A&M-Corpus Christi returns all-conference selections Kipngeno, Campos and Quin Johnson while also boasting a strong newcomer class.
