Ledgister Earns Southland Athlete of the Week Honor

FRISCO, Texas – After recording a first-place finish in the 400 hurdles that ranks 15^th in the nation, Leonardo Ledgister claimed Southland Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week accolades as announced by the league Wednesday.

Ledgister set a school record with a first-place finish in the 400m hurdles at the UTSA Roadrunner Invitational, crossing the finish line with a 50.59 time to register the league's second-best performance in the event this season. He blistering time ranks ninth in the NCAA West Region and 15th in the nation.
