HOUSTON, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi earned a pair of 5-0 sweeps against Southeastern Louisiana and Stephen F. Austin to complete its weekend Saturday at the HBU Tournament.
In their first meeting of the regular season with SLU, the Islanders claimed the opening point and never looked back as No. 1

The Islanders followed it up with its second sweep of SFA this spring, with No. 1 Poletti and Pertuit (15-21, 21-18, 15-13) and No. 4 Young and Adkisson (17-21, 21-14, 15-8) posting the win in three while No. 2 Ramirez and Horsfall (21-15, 21-12), No. 3 Dodge and Mazurkeviciute (21-17, 21-11) and No. 5 Kvam and Mirabal (21-9, 21-18) rolled to straight-set decisions.
Up next, the Islanders host the Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Tournament April 23-25.
