BATON ROUGE, La. – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi beach volleyball concluded the LSU Beach Invitational with a 4-1 setback against No. 16 South Carolina Sunday morning at the LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium.
No. 4 pair 
Mary Dodge and 
Migle Mazurkeviciute grabbed the three-set victory behind scores of 14-21, 21-15, 15-13 to give the Islanders its lone point of the match.  
Emily Ramirez and 
Taylor Horsfall battled in the No. 3 spot, extending the match to three but ultimately falling in a 21-18, 21-23, 15-12 final.
South Carolina cruised to the win with straight-set routs over No. 1  
Giuliana Poletti Corrales and 
Brooke Pertuit (23-21, 21-15), No. 2 
Kylie Kvam and 
Micaela Mirabal (21-12, 21-16) and No. 5 
Tori Johnson and
