Demi McInnis stretched the lead to 2-0 behind a thrilling 22-20, 18-21, 15-10 victory.
Momentum shifted to the home club after Kingsville bagged the No. 3 point against
Mary Dodge and
Micaela Mirabal to half the Islanders' edge 2-1, while No. 1
Giuliana Poletti Corrales and
Brooke Pertuit fell 21-16, 21-18 to deadlock it two-all with a point remaining.
The deciding point came down to a third set, as Kingsville sealed the come-from-behind win with a 19-21, 21-14, 15-12 final over No. 2
Kylie Kvam and
Brooke Adkisson.
