A&M-Corpus Christi Announces Partnership with Orthopaedic Center of Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Orthopaedic Center of Corpus Christi (OCCC) has become the official orthopaedic partner of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi athletics.
 
"We are very pleased to announce this partnership with the Orthopaedic Center of Corpus Christi," said Director of Athletics Jon Palumbo. "The opportunity to build upon this long-standing relationship and continue to provide the best possible care for our student-athletes is very exciting for Islander Athletics."
 
The goal of OCCC is to provide the highest quality of life with the least risk.  OCCC's expertise includes minimally invasive surgery, computer-assisted surgery, general orthopaedics, hip replacement, knee replacement, shoulder replacement, total joint replacement, sports medicine, hand and upper extremity, arthroscopic surgery and spine surgery.
 
"I, as are the other physicians & staff at the Orthopaedic Center of Corpus Christi, am excited to continue the long tradition of providing exceptional care as the exclusive orthopaedic partner for the Texas A&M Islanders. I look forward to the opportunities to continue to support the university and our community through this partnership," said Dr. April Hallquist, board certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon at OCCC.
