Soccer caps weekend with 1-0 win over UTRGV

Story Headlines
- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi soccer team defeated UTRGV, 1-0, in the South Texas Showdown, presented by NavyArmy Community Credit Union on Sunday night in Edinburg, Texas. 
- With tonight's win, the Islanders move to 3-4 on the season, while UTRGV now stands at 3-2-1.
- Sunday's contest marks Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's first win in program history over the Vaqueros. 
- Head Coach Craig Shaw has now tied the all-time record for coaching wins in Islanders soccer history. 
- UTRGV had over nearly 400 minutes of scoreless play prior to tonight's match against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The last team to score on the the Vaqueros was the University of Miami on August 22nd.
