Houston, Texas - Texas A&M-Corpus Christi finished the Houston Invitaitional 3-2 beating Mississippi Valley State and Southern, and losing to Houston twice. On Friday, the Islanders defeated Mississippi Valley State 5-2 before a rematch Saturday morning where the Islanders were able to win again 5-2. The next game was played against tournament host, University of Houston, where the Blue and Green lost 6-0. In the last day of play, Corpus Christi run-ruled Southern 10-2 before falling to Houston for the second time, 6-1. All three pitchers made appearances in the circle this past weekend.Â

To start off the last day of play, Corpus Christi run-ruled Southern University 10-2 in 6 innings.
