Story Headlines
- The Islanders' soccer program (5-8-3, 2-6-2 Southland) was unable to overcome difficult road conditions at Lamar (11-4-2, 7-1-2 Southland) as the team wrapped up its away schedule, dropping a 6-1 decision to the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.
- Freshman
Dana Curtis opened the scoring for both teams with an early goal -- her second of the season -- outplaying the keeper on the right side as Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi jumped out to a 1-0 advantage. Fellow freshman
Reaghan Lang earned her first assist of the year on the play.
- Sophomore
Kyleigh Hall recurred at goalkeeper for the second-straight match, surrendering six scores while securing two saves.
