Panthers Snag Final Game of Three-Game Set vs. Islanders

Box Score

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - A day after a pair of wins over Prairie View A&M, including Liz Carter's first career no-hitter and a come from behind victory, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi softball team dropped its final contest of a three-game series against the Panthers 2-1.

A pair of errors proved too much for the Islanders (10-9) to overcome in the loss. Despite outhitting the visitors 7-4, A&M-Corpus Christi could not convert hits into runs, as they stranded six on base over the course of the game.

Prairie View took the lead for the final time in the top of the sixth when catcher Amanda Ford connected on a two-out RBI double to score Harvil.
