Lakewood Ranch, Fla. – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's golf team wrapped up Day One of the 38th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational tied in 10th place following a 23-over, 311, on Sunday. The Islanders played the Par 72, 6,261 yards, Cypress Links Course at Lakewood Ranch Country Club.

Dani Bergmann shot her career-best round with an even-par, 72, to finish the first round tied in sixth place. Ana Paredes finished tied for 27th, shooting a 4-over, 76. Vanessa Johnson carded 5-over, 77, for a tie in 33rd place. Anna Millet-Esteve's 14-over, 86, landed the Spanish international in 75th place following day one to round out the scoring for the Islanders.
Leighann Cabush from Memphis leads the individual field with her 3-under, 69. James Madison shot a 2-over, 290, to lead the tournament, two shots ahead of second-place Memphis. Daytona State will start Day Two three shots back in third.
The Islanders will continue the tournament tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
