COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M - Corpus Christi men's tennis senior Peter Nagy has advanced to the round of 32 in singles play after clinching a three-set win today at the USTA/ITA Texas Regional Championships at Texas A&M.

After falling 7-5 in the second set, the native of Budapest, Hungary, took care of business with a 6-1 win in the third set to advance to the round of 32. Nagy will take on No. 2 seed Harrison Adams of Texas A&M tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. Adams is ranked No. 11 in the ITA singles rankings.
"I thought we competed very hard today as a group," Director of Tennis Steve Moore said. "Peter's match tomorrow is a great opportunity against one of the top players in the country, so we are excited for that chance to battle."

In the second round, Rauseo lost a tough three-set match to No. 6 seed Felipe Soares of Texas Tech. After Rauseo secured the first set, 6-3, Soares, who is ranked No. 43 in the ITA singles rankings, answered back to clinch the second set, 6-3, before garnering a 6-4 third set.
