Meet the New Islanders - Charlie Hurd

Over the next month, GoIslanders.com will introduce you to the newest members of the Texas A&M – Corpus Christi men's basketball team. Today, fans get introduced to Charlie Hurd, who comes from Division II Tarleton State and will sit out this season under NCAA transfer rules.

Hurd, a Houston native, played two seasons at TSU before coming to the Island University. He grew up attending Rice basketball camps when now-Islanders coaches Willis Wilson and Marty Gross were on the Rice staff.
