CORPUS CHRISTI – Islanders
Basketball Weekly, the coaches show for Texas A&M –
Corpus Christi men's and women's basketball, will be held Monday
evenings from 6-7 p.m. and will originate from the Executive Surf
Club during the 2011-12 season. The show, which airs next on
Monday, Nov. 21, will also be broadcast live on NewsRadio 1360
KKTX.
"We're thrilled to enter a partnership with such a Corpus
Christi icon as the Executive Surf Club," Assistant AD for External
Operations Megan Allen said. "With its atmosphere and downtown
location, it provides a great location for Islanders fans to come
out and support the basketball programs every Monday night."
Islanders Basketball Weekly features interviews with Head
Coaches Willis Wilson and Robert Robinson along with player guests
from both teams. The show, hosted by the Voice of the Islanders,
Steven King, will air on NewsRadio 1360 for those who can't make it
to the Executive Surf Club for the event.
IBW will not air on Dec. 19 and 26, and Feb. 7 (men's game at
