Texas A&M-Corpus Christi returns to action
this weekend as they head to Houston for the Victor Lopez Bayou
Classic. The meet starts on Friday evening at Rice Stadium on the
campus of Rice University.
Both squads enter the weekend with confidence
as the A&M-Corpus Christi women finished first at the Cactus
Cup in Kingsville and the men were a close second place.
Kassandrea Son looks to continue her early
season success as she finished first in four individual events in
addition to first and third in the relays she ran.
Also looking to continue from where he left
off last weekend is Ozzie Garcia who finished first in two events
and contributed 48 points to the Islanders men's team scoring.
