CORPUS CHRISTI - The Texas A&M - Corpus Christi track and
field program has released its 2011 Indoor and Outdoor schedules.
This upcoming season the Islanders will face a wide variety of
competition in both portions of their schedules.
"Our schedule is a good mix of low key and highly competitive
meets. It's good to have meets where you can develop as an athlete
and work on the technical aspects of your events," said head coach
Randy Bungard. "We also have meets in which we'll run against the
best teams in the country.
"The combination of both types of meets will allow us to
continue to build our program into a conference contender and allow
our best student-athletes to run against the top athletes in the
country."
