A&M-Corpus Christi baseball team's doubleheader at Prairie View
A&M scheduled for Wednesday afternoon has been postponed
indefinitely due to inclement weather. The games may be re
rescheduled for a later date.
The Islanders now
turn their focus towards opening their first-ever Southland
Conference season this weekend with a three-game series at
Whataburger Field against Northwestern State. The series begins on
Friday with a game at 6:30 p.m., with games on Saturday and Sunday
at 3 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
A&M-Corpus
Christi is 12-9 entering the conference-opening series, however
eight of its nine losses have come against teams that have been
ranked this season. Northwestern is 8-12 overall.
