HIGH SCHOOL: Ran for Jim Pat Darcey at Katy High School in Katy, Texas ... named most outstanding runner in 2009 and 2010 ... holds the school record in the 3200m with a time of 11:43 and an individual school record for the second fastest mile with a time of 5:17 ... earned Academic All-State for cross country and track ... lettered four years in both cross country and track.
