Volleyball to Host Youth Match on Saturday

CORPUS CHRISTI – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi volleyball team will host the Islanders Youth Volleyball Match on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Dugan Wellness Center. The Islanders will go head-to-head with McNeese State in a Southland Conference matchup at 1 p.m.

Pregame festivities on the concourse will include activities with athletes from Islanders Baseball, Softball and Basketball as well as face painting provided by the Islanders Cheer and Dance teams.  Doors open at noon.

An autograph session will be held following the match for all Islanders fans.  Kids in eighth grade and younger will be able to participate in a FREE Volleyball Clinic administered by the Islanders volleyball team.

The Islanders are currently 11-14 overall and 3-5 in Southland Conference play. Texas A&M – Corpus Christi has put up a 5-4 record at home in front of the largest fan support in Islanders Volleyball history. The Cowgirls are currently 6-16 overall and 1-7 in Southland Conference play.
