The Texas A&M - Corpus Christi women's tennis team will close out the 2011 regular season on Tuesday with a pair of matches on the road against St. Mary's in San Antonio. The matches were originally scheduled for earlier in the season but were postponed due to weather.
The Islanders come into the matches with a record of 10-5 on the season. They finished Southland Conference play with a 7-4 mark, the highest win total in school history. St. Mary's is 4-13 on the year coming into Tuesday.
Last time in action, Texas A&M - Corpus Christi won a pair of Southland Conference matches against Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston State this past weekend at the Corpus Christi Country Club.
For St. Mary's, the Rattlers lost 5-2 against Texas - Pan American on Saturday in Edinburg.
After the Islanders complete the regular season, they will take part in the Southland Conference Tennis Tournament on April 29-30 in San Antonio on the campus of UTSA.
