Golf Posts 314 in Final Round of ORU Shootout
Ana Paredes and Nagisa Miura each shot 76 in the third and final round of the ORU Shootout, presented by Bob Hurley Auto Family. The Islanders shot 314 in Tuesday’s 18 holes, their best round of the 54-hole event, to finish with a 952 in 10th place.

The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women’s golf team will open its 2014-15 schedule at the ORU Shootout, presented by the Bob Hurley Auto Family. The 54-hole event will take place on Monday, Sept. 29, and Tuesday, Sept. 30.

Record 84 Islanders Named to Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi placed 84 student-athletes on the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll during the spring semester, the league announced today. It marked an all-time high for the Islanders, who saw 18 student-athletes earn a perfect 4.0 GPA in their spring competitive seasons.

Islanders Golf Receives APR Public Recognition Award
The Texas A&M – Corpus Christi golf team has received an APR Public Recognition Award for its perfect score in the NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate, the organization announced today. The Islanders posted a perfect score of 1000, their third consecutive year achieving that milestone.

Golf Finishes Sixth In Southland Golf Championship
The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi team had its best round of the week, shooting a 308 in the third and final round of the 2014 Southland Women's Golf Championship at High Meadow Ranch Golf Club. The Islanders finished sixth as a team, passing McNeese State and Houston Baptist on the final day.

The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women’s golf team shot a second-round 317 to remain in eighth place at the 2014 Southland Women’s Golf Championship. The Islanders hold a two-round 632 heading into Thursday’s final round of action.
