Islanders women's golf continues play at Dale McNamara Invitational

OWASSA, Okla. - Texas A&M - Corpus Christi women's golf team continued play at the inaugural Dale McNamara Invitational on Tuesday. The Islanders were 12 shots better in the second round at the Patriot Golf Club in Owassa, Okla.

Like in the opening round, Ryann White and Nikki Dunn again had the low rounds for the team, with White shooting a 76 and Dunn a 78.

Cecilia Jeon had a second round 80, good enough for the third lowest score. Katie Belser carded an 84 and rounding out the scoring for the group was Lindsay Biehler with a 90.

"Good to see us play better, still gave away some shots and are continually trying to improve enough so we avoid mistakes," said head coach Carol Blackmar "Ryann fired another good round, and hopefully she'll continue to shoot up the leader board tomorrow."
