Chadwick To Throw Ceremonial First Pitch Friday at Hooks Playoff Game

CORPUS CHRISTI – Texas A&M - Corpus Christi Women's Basketball Head Coach Royce Chadwick will make program history Friday, Sept. 7, when he throws out the ceremonial first pitch at the Corpus Christi Hooks playoff game at Whataburger Field. Chadwick will be the first Islanders coach to throw out the first pitch during a Hooks playoff game. 

"We are flattered to have the opportunity to represent Texas A&M - Corpus Christi at this playoff game," Chadwick said. "On behalf of our women's basketball team and our fans we want to say a huge thank you to the Hooks organization for this honor. Go Hooks … Go Islanders!" 

The Hooks will play the Frisco RoughRiders, a best of five series in the Texas League playoffs. Friday's game will be the first home contest in the series, starting at 7:05 p.m. in their first home postseason game since 2006. For more information click here
