CORPUS CHRISTI – Texas A&M - Corpus Christi head softball coach Stephanie Hughes will be speaking at the USSSA Corpus Christi Pride six-and-under t-ball Pony World Series celebration on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 6-7 p.m. at the Moody High School Softball Field.
"I'm honored to be apart of a celebration for the six-and-under USSSA World Series champions," Hughes said. "This is a tremendous feat for these talented young softball players from the Coastal Bend. I know that Coach Sarah Pauly and her Pride teammates would be so proud of how they have represented the USSSA Pride organization."
Coach Pauly is in her ninth year in the National Pro Pastpitch (NPF) and is currently in the middle of her fifth season with the Pride. She leads the league all-time in wins and innings pitched and is currently ranked third in wins and strikeouts this season.
Just like Coach Pauly and many of her Pride teammates, the Corpus Christi Pride now have a championship under their belt and will hold a celebration to honor the team for their hard work and accomplishments.
