2012 (SOPHOMORE): Powered the Islanders offense with a .339 batting average … played in 30 games while making starts in 20 of them … played the majority of the season as a designated hitter but also made five starts behind home plate … finished fourth in the conference with a perfect fielding percentage … tallied 19 hits and four runs while finishing second on the team with 12 RBIs … led the team with 14 walks … tallied two doubles on the season … went 2-for-2 against Oklahoma State (2/12) and Ole Miss (2/24) … against Nicholls State (5/5) she went 3-for-5 and ripped a three-run single to center field to help the Islanders pull ahead for good.
2011 (FRESHMAN): Started 33-of-41 games she appeared in during her first year with the Islanders…had one home run with 11 runs driven in, including seven doubles…drove in a season-best three runs against UTSA (3/2)...had a season-high four total bases at Central Arkansas (3/12).
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at John Foster Dulles High School in Sugar Land for head coach Ryland Bailey…hit .422 with an on-base percentage of .661, seven home runs and 14 RBI as a senior…was a team captain and offensive MVP as a senior while also earning First Team All-District 23-5A honors to go along with her Greater Houston All-Star Game selection…was a first team all-district member as a junior as well after being named second team as a sophomore and honorable mention as a freshman…holds the school record for most home runs with 17 and in doubles with 38 in her career…first player at Dulles to win the team MVP award two consecutive years.
