The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's and women's tennis teams will play their final matches of the regular season this Sunday when the men face Lamar in a road match at 1 PM while the women play Southeastern Louisiana in Beaumont for a neutral site match at 11 AM.
The men are in contention for the Southland Conference regular season title and are currently tied for first place with UTSA after beating the Roadrunners by a 6-1 final last weekend. They are 9-13 on the year overall and 3-1 in conference play. If the Islanders win against Lamar, they will clinch their third-straight conference title.
The women hold a 9-10 record and are 4-6 in the Southland. Their match against Southeastern La. will help determine their seeding in next weekend's Southland Conference Tournament. The tournament will be held in Corpus Christi on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the HEB Tennis Center.
