Islanders Announce Several New Ticket Plans

CORPUS CHRISTI – Several new ticket plans are now available for the 2011-12 Texas A&M – Corpus Christi men's basketball team, the Department of Athletics announced today.

The "Ultimate Four Pack" offers fans seats in the Courtside section for four of the top games on the schedule – including Big 12 opponent Texas Tech. For just $55, fans can get tickets to the game against the Red Raiders (Dec. 1) along with McNeese State (Jan. 7), Stephen F. Austin (Jan. 28) and UTSA (Feb. 22). That's a savings of 18 percent of the normal ticket price.

The "Pick 3 for $33 Plan" offers fans the chance to pick any three games, with the exception of the Texas Tech game, and get one Courtside seat to each for a total of $33. Fans will save $3 off each ticket in this plan.

Two non-conference contests also feature special ticket discounts. For the "Turkey Tuesday Two-fer" basketball doubleheader on Nov. 22, fans can get a ticket to both the women's game against Iona and the men's game against Utah State for just $12. Fans are also encouraged to bring canned goods to the game as part of a food drive that partners Islanders Athletics and the Texas A&M – Corpus Christi Student Government Association and benefits Metro Ministries.

With the "Holiday Hoops Family Four Pack," fans can get four Courtside seats for the Dec. 15 game against South Alabama for just $28. That works out to buying four half-price tickets for the return of former Islanders head coach Ronnie Arrow, in his first appearance at the American Bank Center since leading the team to its only NCAA Tournament berth.

Fans can take advantage of these offers or purchase single-game or season tickets by calling the Islanders Athletics Ticket Office at 825-BALL (2255) or visiting GoIslanders.com today.
