True walk-on joined the team after trying out in October, after spending the previous year as a student at A&M - Corpus Christi … played in 14 games and made seven starts … scored 30 points to go along with 13 boards and nine assists on the year … made his Islanders debut at West Virginia (12/17) … played two minutes and tallied an assist at Missouri State (12/19) … had a steal and a rebound in four minutes against Lamar (1/4) … earned first career start and had six points and 24 minutes against McNeese State (1/7) … had a fast-break layup in 16 minutes at UTSA (1/11) … drilled a three after starting at Southeastern Louisiana (1/14) … went 4-for-5 from downtown in scoring a career-high 15 points against UT Arlington (1/18), adding three assists.

VICTORIA COLLEGE: Played as a starter for one year for Jona Anderson and the Pirates’ club team … was named the school’s Athlete of the Year.
