CORPUS CHRISTI – Former Texas A&M - Corpus Christi dancer and current San Antonio Talons Sky Dancer Leslee Blazek returned to campus today to choreograph a couple routines for the current Islanders dance team.

"Leslee saw today how much the program has grown since she was in the program back in 2007-08," Head Coach Melanie Lowry said. "She was a great dancer when she was here and she is an even better dancer now. She is one of the first dancers I coached to dance professionally and there's dancers here who I know want to go in that same direction, so it was great to have her come here and help the girls push toward that goal."

Blazek is in her second year with the Sky Dancers and was coached by Lowry in 2007, during her second year at the Island University.

"She is an amazing chorographer and she choreographed some routines today that we will be performing at different basketball games," Lowry added. "We loved having her here."
