The Green Team responded with a pair of runs in the top of the third to cut the deficit to just one. Lerick started the rally off with an infield single to third base and came all the way around to score when a Davis double moved him to third and an error on the right fielder allowed him to score.
Silva walked to put runners on first and second, and Cody Stephens moved the runners up on a sacrifice bunt. Lee followed with an RBI groundout to make it a 3-2 score.
The Blue Team added another run in the bottom half of the inning when Stafford Brantley reached on a hit-by-pitch, moved to second on a walk by David Tittle and moved to third as a walk to Guilford loaded the bases. The Blue Team scored two runs in the fourth, three runs in the fifth and one run in the seventh to put the game out of reach. The Green team tried to rally, scoring three runs in the top of the ninth, but it would not be enough as the game finished with a 10-5 score.
