Islanders Team Up With Marines on Toys For Tots Program

The Texas A&M – Corpus Christi athletic department has teamed up with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the Texas A&M – Corpus Christi College of Nursing and the Blue Crew student organization to participate in the local Toys for Tots campaign organized by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. SAAC and the Marines have worked together for several years to the benefit of the Corpus Christi community.

“This is a great way for the student-athletes to give back to the community by helping local kids,” said SAAC President Melissa Jones. “We want to help make a difference for Christmas, and having more organizations involved, we are hoping to be able to give even more this year and affect more kids.”
