THE ISLANDERS STORY
Both the Islanders men's and women's are headed to Katy for the 2017 Southland Conference Tournament. The men finished the conference slate at 12-6 and earned the No. 2 seed in the tournament as well as a double-bye into the semifinals on Friday night. The women enter the weekend after winning three-straight games to end the season, earning the fifth seed. The Islanders stay in Katy begins Thursday morning at 11 a.m. as the women take on Northwestern State.
